About Soren
I am an enthusiastic Violin tutor with 6 years of professional teaching experience, successfully training nearly 150 students from beginners to advanced learners. My teaching philosophy centres on clarity, consistency, and creativity.
I carefully design lesson plans that build technical strength step by step, focusing on posture correction, bowing technique, finger coordination, and rhythm development. Once the basics are established, I encourage students to explore musical interpretation and expressive playing.
I strongly believe that every student progresses differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual needs and goals. I provide detailed feedback and structured home practice guidance to ensure steady improvement.
A unique strength I bring is my ability to create a motivating environment where students feel confident and supported. My objective is to help learners develop not only technical excellence but also a deep appreciation for music.

I believe that violin learning should be systematic, encouraging, and practical. My classes are based on strong communication where students feel comfortable asking questions. I adapt my lessons to match the student’s speed and learning preference.
I teach essential techniques such as intonation control, bowing variations, vibrato, shifting positions, and dynamic expression in a clear and gradual way. In addition to violin playing, I include music theory, harmony basics, sight reading, ear training, rhythm development, and music history.
I connect lessons to real-life performance examples like recitals, ensemble coordination, and competition preparation. This helps students understand how each skill is useful beyond the classroom. My goal is to build technical strength, confidence, and creative expression.
