About Sitira
I am a PhD Doctoral Student in Applied Social Sciences at De Montfort University, Leicester. I am currently carrying out research on the lived experiences of parents of trans and gender expansive children's familial relationships, Including Black and Minority Ethnic families using an Intersectional approach. I hold an MRes in Research in Applied Health Studies and a BA Hons Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. I joined Middlesex University as a Research Associate specialising in impact evaluation case study qualitative research. I have previously worked on a variety of research projects pertaining to entrepreneurship, Infectious diseases, and gender identity.
