About Ryan

I have been playing chess for over 12 years, and have been taught by some great players including Jorge Sammour-Hasbun. I have previously taught individuals at a beginner level, and run a chess team where I was the teacher planning and delivering lessons. The members of the team were at an intermediate level.

I would be teaching online for the forceable future, where either we would play each other and you would talk through your thinking and I would ask you questions about moves to get you thinking, or I would share my screen with you and show you various positions and openings that would help to get you thinking in a different way, as well as learning some chess theory
