About Joëlle
I have my high school certificate (2022), but besides that, I also left high school with a wealth of experience in the areas of learning and planning. Personally, I have dealt with physical setbacks for almost my entire life that can make studying and planning extra difficult. Because of this, I have learned to devise methods that truly work for me so that I do not have to be held back by health challenges. I wish this for others too, and that is why I would like to help. I am currently studying Educational Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. My own experience has taught me that 'learning' is a personal process, and therefore requires a personal approach. Which study method works best depends not only on the student but also on the subject. During my lessons, the focus will always be on growth and not on achieving high grades. After all, every student is different and performs at a different level. My motto has always been: if you want something and work hard for it, anything is possible. With the right tools and self-confidence, you can go very far. I have been tutoring for 3 years and I still really enjoy doing it! Both experience and enthusiasm are present!

After finishing high school and being ready to go to university, I knew one thing for sure: I’m going to approach learning and studying differently! My bachelor in Educational Sciences and my own experiments have significantly changed my perspective on learning. Hard work is important, but working efficiently is just as crucial. During my lessons, I would like to discover together which learning methods work well for you, share my experiences, allow space for you to incorporate your obstacles into your schedule, and provide tips to help with your learning.
Duration: I allocate an hour to 50 minutes for a lesson, but if there are any questions after the class, it is no problem if the lesson runs a little over, and we can always schedule an extra lesson, for example, just before exam weeks. My lessons are intended for high school students, both in the lower and upper years, at all levels.

Perfect! Joelle is fantastisch ! Ze geeft mijn dochter een hele goede houvast zodat ze zich goed kan voor bereiden op de toetsweek. Mijn dochter is vele male relaxter en dat is zo fijn te zien ...nu de resultaten nog ;-)

Joëlle en ik zijn beste vriendinnen. Op de middelbare school had ik moeite met economie. Ik stond op het punt om het niet te halen en Joëlle stelde toen voor om bijles te geven. Ze kan erg goed en duidelijk uitleggen, hierdoor had ik een voldoende gehaald en mijn gemiddelde was toen uiteindelijk ook een voldoende.
Ik heb in havo 3 een middagje bijles van Joëlle gehad voor het vak economie en daardoor een mooi cijfer gehaalt voor mijn proefwerk. Ze heeft veel geduld en legt duidelijk en stapsgewijs uit. Ik zou Joëlle zeker aanbevelen!
