About Marina

I am a passionate chess coach with many years of experience in this field. Teaching chess is not just a job for me; it's a true calling that brings immense joy and satisfaction. I take pride in quickly finding an effective and individual approach for every child I work with, patiently explaining the nuances of the game until they fully understand. Currently, I work as a chess coach at Doral Academy, Staton Elementary School, Linda Rankin Elementary School, and Seta Tajirian Saturday School in Las Vegas. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of coaching in various schools, including QSI International School, Vazgen I Basic School No.168, Kupalyan Private School, and Arabkir Hayordac Tun. My students have achieved first place in US National Scholastic Tournaments and International Tournaments. My dedication and hard work earned me the title of Teacher of the Year. I have been awarded numerous accolades, including a teaching license, accreditation by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, and recognition from the Chess Academy in 2018. I am a candidate for Master Sport in chess. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, qualifying as a Mathematician. Additionally, I have completed several courses and attended conferences related to chess education, including the Chess in School Conference in 2012, the Preparation of Chess Teachers Course in English in 2019, and the Chess in Education International Conference in June 2022. As a licensed chess coach, I am committed to providing the best possible education to my students and continuously improving my skills and knowledge in this field. About the lesson

Embarking on our chess journey, we'll delve into its rich history, exploring the board and pieces through engaging quizzes, videos, and interactive games focused on piece movements. For seasoned players, we'll dissect grandmasters' games, emphasizing strategic thinking.

Following each session, participants will engage in mutually challenging matches of varying difficulty. By the course conclusion, you'll master game strategies, adeptly launching attacks on your opponent's king while fortifying your defenses.

Weekly, we revisit chess topics, introducing new concepts for the upcoming week. Progressing with one or two topics weekly, the pace remains tailored to each student's unique learning curve. Join me for a dynamic and personalized chess learning experience!♟️
