About Soren
I’m a singing tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Music. I specialise in teaching Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country vocals, helping students explore and grow across multiple genres. My teaching blends strong vocal technique with creativity and musical awareness. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s voice, goals, and experience level. I work with beginners building their foundation and advanced singers refining their style. My approach includes ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to support well-rounded development. I believe that singing is both an art and a skill. That’s why I focus on building confident performers who understand their voice and use it expressively. Performance skills are woven into lessons, helping students feel prepared for any stage. With supportive guidance and personalised instruction, I aim to make every lesson both productive and enjoyable. Whether you’re singing for fun or working towards a serious goal, I’m here to help you find your voice and grow with it.

My singing methodology helps vocalists master multiple genres by combining strong technique with adaptable artistry. The Church Ensemble Player learns to blend seamlessly, control dynamics, and maintain vocal clarity across worship, gospel, and contemporary styles. The Crossover Artist is trained to shift effortlessly between classical precision, jazz fluidity, and pop energy while keeping vocal health and expression in balance. We focus on building pitch accuracy, breath control, and resonance that fits each genre’s demands. Exercises target flexibility and tone shaping, helping singers find the right sound for every musical setting. I use metronomes for rhythmic discipline, pitch apps for tuning awareness, and DAWs to record, review, and refine performances. Genre-specific phrasing and interpretation are explored through active listening and practice. Students learn how to approach each song with emotional depth and stylistic confidence. Both ensemble players and solo artists benefit from personalised feedback and structured progress tracking. The goal is to create singers who are not only technically skilled but also versatile and expressive. With the right tools and guidance, every student can confidently move between styles while staying true to their voice.
