About Priviledge
Hello! My name is Privilege, and I am a friendly and patient English tutor from Zimbabwe. I enjoy helping people become more confident in English and discover that learning a language does not have to be stressful or intimidating.
I became interested in teaching because I enjoy communicating with people and helping them understand things in a simple, practical way. I especially love seeing students go from feeling nervous about making mistakes to speaking more freely and confidently.
My background in theatre arts has strengthened my communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, which I bring into my lessons. I enjoy using role-play, creativity and visual activities to make learning engaging and memorable.
You can expect professional, well-prepared and supportive lessons where you are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I believe that building confidence is just as important as learning the rules of English, and I will work with you patiently to help you make steady progress.

My teaching style is relaxed, friendly and practical. I believe students learn English best when they feel comfortable enough to speak, ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed.
I offer lessons in English grammar, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and everyday conversation. My approach combines clear explanations with practical activities, conversations, role-play and visual materials, depending on the student's goals and learning style. I do not want lessons to feel like memorising rules - I want students to understand how to use English naturally in real-life situations.
What makes me a unique teacher is my background in theatre arts, which helps me bring energy, creativity and confidence-building activities into my lessons. I encourage students to actively participate rather than simply listen to the teacher. I can adapt lessons to suit a student's personality, level and specific needs.
I am proficient in English and my lessons teach in English.
A typical lesson may include a short conversation or warm-up, introduction of the lesson topic, guided practice and plenty of opportunities for the student to speak and apply what they have learned. I also give corrections and explanations in a supportive way so students can improve without losing confidence.
My lessons are particularly suitable for beginners and elementary to intermediate learners who want to improve their grammar, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary and everyday communication. I also welcome students who understand English but lack confidence when speaking it.
Whether you are learning English for everyday life, work, travel, school or simply to become confident, I will help you build your skills step by step in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
