About Julia
I am studying to become a teacher for German and English and have just passed my state examination. During my studies I spent two months in Scotland. I have been teaching English to my neighbor for a few years now and helped her successfully with her Abitur finals.

The most important thing for me is the communicative core competence in the foreign language, which means that the learners can use a language for their communicative purposes and develop or practice skills and knowledge with me. That is why I think it makes sense to hold classes in the target language as much as possible in order to achieve a natural appropriation of the language. This should be supplemented by exercises, homework and written reviews etc. Since each language learner learns individually, I will focus on the following core competencies depending on my ability: - listening comprehension - reading comprehension - speaking - writing - language mediation (E) Other practice areas include: - grammar - pronunciation - orthography - vocabulary - intercultural competence (E)
