I'm a published author and a very patient English teacher with 19 years of experience teaching English in South Africa and Thailand, as well as teaching English online to students in China. I have a bachelor's degree in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, and Psychology, and a post-graduate diploma in Education.

I am a very patient teacher. I believe in individual-based learning, so I employ teaching methods that suit each student’s unique learning style, therefore ensuring that maximum learning takes place, while at the same time giving the student a feeling and experience of success and accomplishment. I am comfortable teaching students from ages 4-40. I have experience teaching kindergarten students from age 2 upwards, primary level and secondary level students, as well as adults. I especially enjoy online teaching for the one-to-one teaching opportunity it affords both the tutor and the student. Online teaching lends itself very well towards identifying specific areas of the subject where the student might need extra tutoring and learning reinforcement, which can be addressed very easily and successfully in the one-to-one learning platform of online teaching, thereby eliminating any learning gaps the student might have. Online teaching is also an excellent way of allowing a student to excel in the specific subject through presenting advanced learning material based on the student's abilities and level of progression, thereby affording the student the opportunity to advance beyond his/her projected level for their age group.

Sanet has been a teacher for the greatest part of her professional career and to teach is her life's mission and passion. She loves people and cares for them deeply and through teaching, this love is manifested. She has tons of teaching experience, in different curricula, both in South Africa and overseas.
