About Shanna
Hi! My name is Shanna. I am here to educate, tutor, and support you in any particular topics or assignments that you would like to work on together. Feel free to email me ahead of time on things you would like to talk about and we can focus on those specific goals in our sessions!
In the past I have worked in several fields as a registered nurse and found myself most passionate about working 1:1 with students who would like to learn! I have over 3 years of experience working with learning disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, and 2 years teaching English to students online.

I will provide you with any tools, skills, and knowledge that you may need to aid you in what you are looking for! Your time is very important and because of that if anything is outside my area of scope, I will make sure to let you know.
I value kindness as well as working and helping others in a way which they feel most comfortable with. This is always at a pace that works for them. I feel passionate about understanding the importance of providing a safe and compassionate environment for clients. This includes active listening, empathy, and understanding to assist with learning English.
A typical length on one session is 1 hour ages 8 to 20.
