About Mandisa
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT I establish clear rules and expectations for the classroom, aligning them with the school's vision and mission. These rules are prominently displayed on the classroom wall and are regularly reviewed and reinforced. I stay organized and flexible by planning engaging lessons and activities and creating effective daily routines. My approach includes developing detailed lesson plans and activities, setting up the classroom to facilitate teaching and learning, and maintaining an orderly environment. I also manage attendance by marking the register daily to track absentees. In handling classroom conflicts, I employ strategic approaches to address issues constructively. Additionally, I utilize a reward system, such as stickers, stars, or sweets, to recognize and encourage positive behavior. PASSION FOR TEACHING I am deeply passionate about pedagogy and education, and I thrive under pressure with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. As a responsible, caring, and flexible individual, I excel both independently and as part of a team. My commitment lies in building strong relationships with learners, colleagues, and parents to positively impact learners' lives and society. I am dedicated to inspiring young minds to reach their full potential. My interest in teaching was ignited by a primary school role model who taught English with remarkable confidence and a loving heart, inspiring my own passion for education. Additionally, my leadership experience as a choir leader in my community and my role as a facilitator in life skills classes at Work Changes Academy have further increased my enthusiasm for teaching. These experiences have equipped me with valuable leadership skills and a deep commitment to fostering educational growth.
