About Amanda

My name is Amanda, and I'm from South Africa. I've done my fair share of traveling and noticed that the need for others to learn a new language is great, and that is why I decided to take up teaching online. This for me is very personal!! It is my passion to help students improve their English in a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I also love meeting people from all walks of life; being able to communicate with them is an instant bonus, and knowing that I had a helping hand in helping them learn a new language gives me the ultimate gratification.

About the lesson

I'm student centered, interactive and supportive. I believe that every student learns differently so my lessons are made to suit each individual and their needs, goals and learning pace. I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students are comfortable making mistakes and asking questions and building their confidence in English. I will ALWAYS provide constructive feedback and plenty opportunities to practice and grow. My goal is to make English enjoyable , effective, and rewarding while I help others enjoy their personal and professional goals
