About Ezra

I understand what it's like to be a student right now because I am one! I'm a college student in Japan working towards a degree in international relations. I'm a published journalist with local and national outlets, and I ran my high school newspaper. In high school, I received a 35 on the ACT (35 English, 36 reading) and was admitted to schools like Cambridge and Northwestern. While writing is daunting, it's learnable, and I can teach you fundamental techniques that will make English fun again. I particularly enjoy working with students writing college essays or preparing for the AP literature or language exams.

About the lesson

The lesson plan revolves around you. Tutoring should be YOUR opportunity to bring materials from school or test preparation that are confusing. In my sessions, I'll help you work through existing questions while teaching new content. A typical lesson will revolve around an organized presentation with supplementary practice materials.
