About Demi

Hello! My name is Demi, I am from Australia!
I grew up living by the beach with a big family and lots of pets. I moved around a little bit growing up and lived in Melbourne, Australia until 2022. After Australia, I moved to Vietnam to live and work, and now I live in Manchester in the United Kingdom!
I love to travel and explore new cultures. While I live in the UK I hope that I can travel in Europe a little bit.
I love to be creative, to draw and paint. I love writing and creating stories. I really enjoy reading, too.
I really love dogs, but recently I met a local cat who I think is very nice. So maybe I love cats a little bit, too!
I have always been passionate about helping people. When I got my TEFL certificate and began teaching in Vietnam, I realised that it was the perfect role for me. Teaching is the kind of 'help' I want to give people. My lessons are authentic, tailored to you and always enthusiastic as I am excited to be on your English language journey with you!

About the lesson

English lesson languages for early years learners, and conversation English lessons for everyone else!
Lessons can be a minimum of 15 minutes. I can offer 30-45 minutes and 1 hour lessons. The first lesson will allow us to discuss your needs for your future lessons.
Expect the lessons to be fun, engaging and memorable. They will be perfectly tailored to suit you and your language learning needs. Everyone learns a bit differently. I am adaptable and empathetic, so you will feel comfortable with me and able to communicate.
I am TEFL certified and have 12 months experience teaching ESL in Vietnam. My students were mainly kindergarten (ages 3-6), ages 10-13 and I also studied with an 8 month old baby. I have a lot of experience with younger years learners, but I am also very comfortable teaching to any age.
