About Gionni

Hello! My name is Gionni. It is a pleasure to meet you.

I am a multilingual Brazilian teacher (Portuguese, English and French) and Migrant who has been through every step of the Canadian migration process in Ontario.

I believe each spoken language is a living organism which exists within its ever-changing context, therefore cultural learning must walk hand in hand with mastering a new language. I use this knowledge to help fellow Migrants to achieve their goals of studying, working, and legally residing in Canada.

Graduated in Brazilian visual arts, theater, and film, with five years of language teaching experience, I teach students through local arts and culture. I also write books, create art, and organize with Migrant Workers in Toronto for the improvement of migrant rights in Canada.

Neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQIA+, trauma informed.

About the lesson

Learn North-American English from a fellow Migrant who has passed through every step of the process.

Welcome to a comfortable and judgment-free environment where you will be met where you are at, and walked hand-in-hand patiently towards your goals.

We will begin by assessing your level of understanding of the English language in Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading, and then create a customized plan based on your learning style and needs. You can choose to either be immersed in the language through the arts and culture, or to prepare technically for a specific exam - your needs will shape my curriculum.
