About Zukiswa
I am a mother to a 17-year-old boy-child. I am an African, Xhosa-speaking female. I went to a mixed-race school, where I was exposed to various cultures and traditions. For 18 months, I got to teach Xhosa to Afrikaans-speaking learners. I was more excited about teaching them than they were. The enthusiasm and excitement we shared in the various classrooms were electric. I got to learn and experience others' cultures more than before. I am very patient, a good listener, flexible, and always happy to assist.

Being a Xhosa Native, with a variety of clicks, the Q's and the X's, I will be able to help the learners to master the clicks, phonetics and sound in vocabulary and pronunciations. In South Africa, we have 11 Official languages, including Sign Language. I am also fluent in Afrikaans. The advantages of learning and being familiar with most of these languages are getting to learn all the various clicks and tongue-twisting pronunciations. For 18 months, I had the privilege to teach Xhosa in an Afrikaans School, which stimulated my Foreign Language Teaching passion.
