I graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in English and a minor in Cinema and Television Arts. I have written over 30 academic essays, almost all of which were for English courses. I have taken a grammar course and several novel courses.

I tutor mostly older high school students and college students. I am very laid-back and kind and I admire any student who has a desire to learn more. My lessons are discussion-based and I prefer to talk with students through each step of the process until we reach an understanding. I can help a student write essays, edit their work, and read more critically. I am an avid reader and I believe I can help a student get the most out of a text they're reading without simply spouting out information. I prefer to listen to students more than talk to them because I want to help them form and understand critical ideas that can help them in class and with an essay.
