About Fyodor

Hi! I'm an English Literature and Creative Writing undergraduate, and I've loved books and writing for as long as I can remember. I want to teach because I know how much a good explanation, or a bit of encouragement, can change the way you feel about a subject. English can seem confusing or intimidating at first, but once it clicks, it's genuinely fun. I'd love to help you get to that point, whether you're tackling a tricky poem, planning an essay, or just trying to feel more confident in lessons.

About the lesson

I'm an undergraduate studying English Literature and Creative Writing, and I love helping students find confidence in their reading and writing. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, but structured: we break down texts together, build clear essay skills step by step, and use creative exercises to make ideas stick. I'll adapt to how you learn best, whether you need exam technique, help with Shakespeare, or just a boost in confidence. Having recently been through the exam system myself, I know what examiners look for, and I'd love to help you feel prepared and excited about English.

With lessons ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, I’m happy to conduct them over Google Meet, Teams, or Zoom.
