About Lucas
I am a finalist and academic scholar at the University of Oxford studying English Language and Literature. I live in london and also work as a theatre director and producer alongside tutoring. I really enjoy talking about books and film, and tutoring allows me to do so quite reliably!

I offer holistic teaching programmes catering to individual needs and goals. I work towards ensuring critical and communicative confidence through a thoroughly text based emphasis on close reading and practical criticism set against strong theoretical backgrounds.
I tutor both English Literature and Language, as well as Latin to A-Level standard across all exam boards.
I have a particular interest in drama and aesthetic theory, alongside the relationship between the literatures of the respective modern and classical worlds.
