About Bev
I’ve worked in careers advice with school-aged pupils for twenty years and have been a tutor in English for seven years. Therefore, I have a range of lesson planning, teaching, mentoring, coaching and interviewing skills. I’m also TEFL qualified and have taught Egyptian Arabic speakers abroad. My experience spans working with children, young people, and adults in school, alternative schools, FE, HE, community-based locations. I teach online or in person.

All my lessons are bespoke, not blanket written and agreed with the student. I’m flexible if changes occur. I’m passionate about tutoring and I do it because I enjoy it, it is not my living. All students who have worked with me have achieved better results and a higher self-esteem. Their passion for English has increased. Many parents and students have thanked me profusely for going above and beyond what other tutors do.
