About Mia
I'm Mia and I graduated with a degree in English from the University of Oxford in 2021. I worked professionally for 3 years, and I am now completing a master's course. I really enjoy tutoring because of the progress I am able to see in my students. It's very rewarding to watch students grow in confidence in a subject area that they had previously struggled with.

I am experienced in tutoring English and French. I had weekly students for about 3 years during and after my undergraduate studies. My lessons are usually one-hour long and structured by a starter activity, then more focused content e.g., language analysis for English, grammar for French or exam techniques. I always try to make my sessions as engaging as possible, and create a warm atmosphere which encourages students to ask questions and make mistakes.
