About Sebastian
Academically, I have a degree in English Literature and Drama Studies from world-renowned University of Exeter. I also have a postgraduate degree in International Politics from Aberystwyth University, the birthplace of International Relations.
At GCSE level, I have an A in both English Literature and Language, as well as an A in Spanish, Biology, and History.
At A Level, I achieved an A* in English Literature, an A in Spanish, an A* in Extended Project Qualification, and a C in Drama and Theatre Studies.
Professionally, I have experience teaching English abroad as a Foreign Language Teacher in Italy.
My work consisted of:
• Facilitating teaching English as a foreign language to Italian children aged 9-13.
• Responsible for the running, organisation, and daily curriculum of school day.
• Developed engaging materials and instructed classes on tasks and exercises.
• Successfully led balanced language classes with students with varying levels of English knowledge.
• Contributed to verbal and written evaluations, activity planning, and administration.
I also have experience in being a summer camp counsellor in America where I:
• Was responsible for children aged 5-15 on a 24/7 basis.
• Ran balanced classes for children with different levels of skill.
• Trained for emergency situations including First Aid/CPR/Allergic Reactions.
• Led excursions and trips out of camp with 100% responsibility for children’s wellbeing.
• Planned, coordinated, and executed activities while guiding campers in personal growth and daily living skills.
• Assisted in direction and supervision of campers in their living unit and during activities while championing program initiatives and camp mission.
• Safeguarded personal property, camp equipment, and facilities.
• Contributed to verbal and written evaluations, activity planning, and administration.
