About Noa
I hold a master’s degree in Violin Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
With an experience of 23 years playing violin, I am the first violinist of the Dior Quartet, String Quartet in-Residence at the Royal Conservatory of Music, winner of the 2023 Concert Artist Guild Elmaleh Competition, Second Prize winner in the Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition (2021), bronze medalist of the 46th Fischoff National Chamber Competition (2019), and First Prize winner of the 9th Plowman Chamber Music Competition (2019).
I mentor violin students at the Oscar Peterson Program of the Royal Conservatory in Toronto. I see the importance of music studies as a vehicle for empowerment and self-expression, connection to the community, and generating empathy and understanding of someone else’s experience.

I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels using such renowned methods as Suzuki, Ševčík, Schradieck, and Kreutzer. I implement a diverse viewpoint, celebrating the unique backgrounds, abilities, bodies, and individualities of each of my students. I therefore adjusts the traditional ways of playing the violin for the new generation of violinists in highlighting the correlation between music, body, and soul.
As an educator, I see the importance of violin studies as a vehicle for empowerment. Scientifically proven to improve cognitive and social skills, learning music promotes values of perseverance, responsibility, and dedication as it gives students a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Music gives individuals an outlet to communicate and express their emotions, allowing students to feel more connected to the community as it has an unmitigated way to generate empathy and understanding of someone else’s experience.
According to the age and need of the student we can accommodate the length of the lesson.
