-I have extensive experience tutoring my peers--experienced English majors--and students beneath my grade. While presenting one's writing is an incredibly intimidating task, I am focused on improving your skills based on your OWN scale. Everyone's best looks different, and it often changes. And so, writers should not be held to a single, rigid standard.

My lessons will be dependent on those whom I am seeing and will be tailored specifically for each student.
While I am more than happy to assist students with specific assignments or tasks, I believe teaching skills to students is far more important than teaching for a specific test or course for learned skills and concepts can be implemented in areas far beyond an isolated, temporary exam. I believe that, in order to effectively teach writing/reading skills, the student should have a vocal, active presence and be willing to make mistakes or misinterpret a text. It is only through active practice in which we can refine our skills.
