About Alper
He started playing music in 1988 with piano lessons from Turgut Ertaş. In 1993, he continued his music education with classical guitar lessons from İsmet Ertaş. After 6 years of classical guitar training, he started taking electric guitar lessons and gave many concerts with the band he founded during his high school years.
During his university years, he performed with many groups on different platforms. Yalçın, who is also interested in computer recording techniques, successfully completed the "Associate of Science in Recording Arts" program at Full Sail University in Florida, USA in 2005 and received the "ProTools- Expert Certificate of Music and Post Production" certificates. During his studies at Full Sail, he successfully completed the "Improvisational Master Guitar" and "Blues Guitar" certificate programs and received two first prizes in the subjects "Recording and Mixing Music" and "Film and Post Production".
In 2007, he started working as a composer, jingle writer, producer and sound engineer at Muzikotek MIKI studios. During the two years he worked under the umbrella of Muzikotek, he created many jingles and TV series music, and apart from these, he served as a sound engineer and assistant producer in the albums Brass Manoeuvers (2007), 2 Saz 2 Styles (2008), and Ramazan (2008). He completed the albums Well Known Tunes (2008), Jingles (2011) and Walking Bad (2018) as a composer and interpreter within Muzikotek. The album "Nem-Kriatalize", recorded at MIKI studios, is Alper Yalçın's first producer work.
Yalçın, who currently works as a composer, jingle writer and producer, continues his work within Melodrome Music Production, which he founded in 2009, and gives Multimedia Audio and guitar lessons. He has 214 works registered with MSG (Musical Works Owners Group Professional Association).
