About Carol

I am Carol Johnson, an experienced teacher, who has been in the profession for 40 years. As a teacher, I have a growth mindset. Over the years education has evolved from talk and chalk to integrating technology in the lessons to enhance teaching and learning. I acquired the skills to use ICT to improve lesson delivery.

About the lesson

Using fun and practical methodology to teach Mathematics from a problem-solving approach. (Concrete, semi-concrete to abstract) For the concrete stage especially for the younger learners, I use different manipulatives to teach the concepts. The learners are engaged in the learning. "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” - Benjamin Franklin
