About Jan
With 27 years’ experience in education training and development, Jan developed, tutored, mentored and trained individual learners and students and emerging business owners. He enjoys interacting with hardworking individuals and is looking to assist learners to progress in their studies.
Jan was a Distinction learner in Technical Drawing from grade 8 to grade 12 and won various trophies for the subject. At the University of Pretoria's education department he received, for four years running, the award for the best student in the subject. He passed his HOD-Technica with Drawings as a main subject with distinctions.
Jan has also achieved various other awards in his career such as:
• Honorary Doctors Degree: D.Ed.Hon - Developing the educational and professional construction management identities of emerging entrepreneurial contractors in Southern Africa: Construction Management for the Emerging Contractor.
• CITY AND GUILDS OF LONDON – Assessors portfolio of the Year Award.
Jan not only places a lot of effort into his passion for Education, training and development but his students grow and achieve results.

With more 25 years experience in education, training and development, Jan Hartzer tutored numerous students to success. With his hands-on approach and tons of patience Jan tutoress individuals to understand the technical concepts of the subject. The tutor center is located in a quite and safe environment. Students have the opportunity to individual attention and step by step explanation of all aspects. Jan Teaches in Afrikaans or English. Lessons are targeted at grades 8 to 12. Jan's passion for technical drawings led him to designing various houses and furniture. He wants to share this passion and knowledge with young aspiring architects, engineers, designers, draught-persons and any learner with a passion for the subject.
