About Itumeleng
I am a chemical engineering graduate, currently studying towards my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (specializing in senior phase and FET mathematics). I am a SACE registered student teacher, currently have one module outstanding to receive my certificate. I have 5 months experience preparing and giving lessons. I enjoyed my time with my learners so much even though i was not being paid for it, I felt fulfilled.
I have previously volunteered at a High School as an assistant to a maths teacher. I was actively involved in planning and presenting maths lessons and I have also conducted Saturday maths classes for grade 8s and 9s on my own. I am passionate about teaching and helping the learners in their learning and I aim to work hard and grow as a teacher, mentor and servant.

My teaching method is that which focus on the learners reaching their full potential. The lessons are interactive, learner centered, allowing the learners to have a voice or opinion, we will have a discussion in order to help the learners understand at their level. The learners' individuality is respected and embraced. There is room to grow!!
