About Zara

My interest in engineering began with a love for understanding how machines, structures, and systems operate. This passion led me to pursue a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering followed by an M.Eng in Systems Engineering, experiences that deepened my appreciation for technical design and structured thinking. Over the past 9 years, teaching has become a way for me to share this fascination with students and help them discover the satisfaction of seeing complex ideas become manageable through patience and clarity. I teach with calmness, structure, and dedication. Students learn differently—some respond best to diagrams, others to step-by-step breakdowns, and some to real-world analogies. I adapt my teaching style to match each learner’s needs. My core values include clarity, encouragement, and respect for a student’s pace. I aim to create an atmosphere where students feel motivated, comfortable, and supported throughout their learning journey. Outside teaching, I continue exploring engineering literature, attending technical seminars, and staying updated on emerging technologies. Engineering has shaped my approach to problem-solving, teaching me discipline, creativity, and persistence. Sharing this subject with students not only strengthens their academic progress but also inspires them to think logically in everyday life. Teaching continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Engineering becomes a powerful subject when students learn to see how science, mathematics, and structured thinking combine to solve real-world problems. My lessons focus on creating an environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and logical reasoning. I guide students through core topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, design principles, system behaviour, and conceptual visualisation. Instead of memorising concepts, students develop intuition—understanding how and why systems operate the way they do. I use diagrams, simplified models, and real examples to make engineering both approachable and exciting. Lessons adapt to the student’s level. Beginners receive clear introductions to basic principles, simple calculations, visual aids, and guided steps that help them build early confidence. Intermediate learners engage in multi-step reasoning, component relationships, applied mathematics, and project-style tasks that strengthen analytical abilities. Advanced students work with problem-solving frameworks, conceptual depth, examination strategy, and engineering logic used in higher studies. I emphasise structured reasoning, clarity of explanation, and steady progression to ensure students consistently feel supported. My goal is to help learners build technical confidence. Many students have achieved academic improvement, clearer understanding, and strong problem-solving habits. Whether preparing for exams or strengthening long-term interest, each lesson aims to help students grow with confidence, curiosity, and practical understanding. Engineering becomes not just a subject but a mindset—one that encourages precision, creativity, and resilience.
