About Gideon
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 18+ years of experience, teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, structured, and meaningful, combining technical skill with creative expression.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalised guidance tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I design lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, while gradually introducing advanced techniques.
I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to ensure a complete understanding of music. Lessons are interactive and engaging, including song-based practice, creative exercises, and performance preparation.
I specialise in breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, motivating students, and helping them build confidence, consistent practice routines, and disciplined habits. My ultimate goal is to provide a supportive, inspiring, and positive environment where students feel encouraged to explore music and grow as musicians.

My teaching philosophy focuses on inspiring individual growth and creativity in every student. I maintain consistent communication to understand each student’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement, allowing me to design lessons that are personalised, motivating, and relevant.
Creativity is a major component of my teaching approach. I encourage students to explore improvisation, experiment with musical ideas, and even create their own compositions. Flexibility in lesson planning ensures that exercises and techniques are tailored to the student’s level and learning style, keeping lessons engaging and effective.
Beyond piano, I teach essential subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This combination ensures students develop technical proficiency, a solid musical foundation, and expressive abilities. My aim is to provide lessons that are educational, enjoyable, and inspiring, helping students grow as musicians and develop a lifelong love for music.
