About Thomas
Music learning becomes enjoyable when students feel confident and supported. With 10 years of experience teaching Piano to college students, I focus on creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to each learner.
My teaching style is friendly, organized, and easy to follow. I explain musical concepts in simple English and encourage students to ask questions whenever they need clarification. This creates a comfortable learning experience.
I use innovative teaching methods including digital piano applications, rhythm training, ear development, visual learning, and creative performance activities. These methods help students improve while making lessons enjoyable.
Students develop confidence in note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, and musical expression. I provide regular progress reviews and personalized advice that supports long-term success.

My teaching style combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured instruction. I believe students progress faster when lessons are clear, engaging, and suited to their individual needs. I work to build confidence while helping students understand music in a practical way.
Students begin with posture, finger exercises, rhythm training, note reading, and music theory before learning scales, chords, pedal techniques, articulation, expressive playing, dynamics, sight reading, and performance skills.
I use demonstrations, practical examples, interactive discussions, and listening exercises throughout every lesson. Students receive regular progress reviews and personalized assignments that help them improve confidently.
Students explore multiple musical genres while developing creativity through accompaniment and improvisation.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and stage performance.
My objective is to inspire students to become independent learners who enjoy music throughout life.
