About Cass
I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a voice emphasis. I love delivering personalised lessons tailored to students of all levels—from school and college learners to adult and professional singers. My teaching covers a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, movie soundtracks, and folk singing. I focus on developing strong ear training, harmony skills, and improvisation, alongside solid music theory knowledge. Building vocal confidence is always a priority in my lessons, and I work closely with each student to nurture their unique voice. Safe vocal techniques are at the heart of my approach, ensuring healthy and sustainable singing habits. My lessons are interactive and supportive, designed to make learning enjoyable and effective. My teaching method focuses on building stage confidence and live performance skills tailored to each musician’s needs. For ensemble players like quartet members, I emphasise microphone technique and clear diction to ensure every harmony is heard distinctly. Breath control and posture are key foundations that help maintain vocal stamina and projection during long sets. For fiddlers and solo performers, I include movement exercises that encourage natural stage presence and connection with the audience. Carefully chosen songs help build self-belief and allow performers to express their unique charisma. I use video feedback to help students see their progress and identify areas for improvement, making learning more concrete. Stage presence drills become a regular part of practice, training performers to engage the crowd confidently and comfortably. Vocal stamina apps support endurance by guiding breath control exercises and tracking progress over time. Together, these techniques create a strong, authentic performance style that feels effortless and engaging. Each lesson focuses on growing not just skill, but the performer’s personal connection with their audience. Confidence grows through practice, support, and tailored challenges. This approach helps every musician shine brightly on stage.
