About Kayla
I have worked with elementary students for over 8 years now, and have assessed and developed intervention plans for all students performing below grade level. I am committed to helping students feel more confident and grow pride in their reading and math accomplishments every step of the way. We celebrate growth no matter how big or small. I will give several assessments to pinpoint most vital areas of need, then develop an intervention plan to bridge any gaps in learning. As we work through the intervention I will assess for progress monitoring purposes, and utilize the results to determine growth or if a more intense intervention is needed. Then once a skill is mastered, we will move on to the next skill that follows.
