About Leona
I hold a Master’s degree in Electronics and have over nine years of experience teaching and mentoring aspiring engineers. My philosophy is simple: understanding comes from doing. In my classroom, students don’t just study circuits—they build them, simulate them, and test their behaviour. I encourage inquiry, creativity, and disciplined reasoning, helping each learner develop the mindset of an engineer. My Electrical Engineering lessons combine conceptual precision with applied learning. Students begin with circuit theory, electromagnetism, and digital logic before exploring system analysis, power electronics, and signal processing. Each topic is linked to real engineering challenges. I emphasise visualisation through simulations and schematic analysis, ensuring that abstract current flow and field theory become intuitively clear. Lessons often include virtual labs and project-based exercises that mirror professional problem-solving. Through guided reasoning, learners develop both analytical and design-thinking skills. We explore how engineering principles apply to innovations like electric vehicles, robotics, and smart grids. By the end of my course, students can design, troubleshoot, and optimise electrical systems confidently, ready for both exams and practical application.
