My teaching methodology is in the solution of exercises, explained step by step with a focus on objectivity and student interaction. I am very attentive and I always try to approach the contents according to the learning speed of each student. Classes can be taught on google meet using image upload tools and whiteboard for explanations. I always recommend that the student sends me details of what he wants to study before starting classes, so that I can prepare and deliver the maximum quality of learning. I have 15 years of experience teaching physics and electrical engineering at all levels.

Find out more about Dr Brayan

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

During my entire career, which corresponds to more than 16 years.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

The topics that I teach are all about physics and electrical engineering. The topics I like the most are: electrical circuits analysis, electronics, machine control, automation and mechanics.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

I had some teachers I really liked who made me laugh during class.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

The main quality to be a good professional is to like what you do and make the lessons dynamic.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

The funny thing is that we are always laughing and I try to make that happen during my classes.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Sometimes I have difficulties with hairy and complex questions that many students bring to me by surprise. But these difficulties make me learn more and more.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I have a PhD in electrical engineering and I always look for innovative ways to teach physics and engineering. I have always had a passion for knowledge.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions :-P) ?

I really like to teach complex content as a form of challenges. I will always be looking for different and innovative ways to improve the quality of education around all over the world.
