About Jordi

Regarding education, he led workshops in Cape Verde at the French Cultural Center in Praïa in 2007 and in Brazil at the University of Natal in 2008. He also took pedagogy courses at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague in 2009 / 2010. Jordi has also been giving private lessons (The Hague and Brussels) for several years. Concerning teaching, he gave workshops in Cape Verde at the French Cultural Center of Praïa in 2007 and in Brazil at the University of Natal in 2008. He also followed the pedagogic education program of the Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague.

About the lesson

Bass lessons for beginners, amateurs or future professionals. -Create your own bass lines -Discover the role of bass in different styles (jazz, groove, Latin music ...) -Learn how to identify the most common harmonic sequences. -Familiarize yourself with improvisation I teach a complete and transverse approach to bass while having as main objective: to have fun and develop trust in the relationship with the music and the instrument. This is why I favor a fun learning: work of exercises and pieces in duet or on recordings ... Each course will be built according to the musical styles that the student will wish to deepen, and his personal goals. English Bass lessons in Brussels for beginners, amateurs or future professionals: from a solid mastering of techniques to the process of embodying improvisation skills. -Create your own bass lines -Discover the role of the bass in different styles (jazz, groove, latin music ...) -Learn to recognize the most common chord changes -Become familiar with improvisation Depending on each student's individual aims, the lessons can be dealing with a great variety of subjects such as ensemble playing, theory, harmony, improvisation, making jazz walking bass lines for instance. Afhankelijk van de wens van de student werk je aan bijvoorbeeld walking bass lines, maar wil je puur klassiek of barok? Verdiep je in continuo - en ensemblespel. Iedere les aandacht voor zuiver spelen, pizzicato en gedegen streek techniek. Techniek gaat hand in hand met de ontwikkeling van je muzikaliteit. Jordi geeft ook muziektheorie - in improvisatielessen. Akkoordenleer voor Jazzbassisten ... een must!
