Yulia has given me real faith in my capabilities to learn Russian! Before her classes, I had been studying independently for 6 months, but when I began to practice with Yulia my learning curve improved drastically! We learn cases from the first day, which (in my opinion) is one of the most difficult concepts to grasp as a native English speaker, so beginning to get used to cases from the start is very helpful. On class-to-class basis, Yulia introduces new vocabulary, sentence constructions, speaking and listening practice, along with the current topic of focus ( ex. Verbs of motion ). Another thing I really like is the readable content she provides and makes me feel confident in my reading skills. I truly believe I will learn to speak (and understand) Russian at a conversational level with Yulia!
