About Moly
I am a passionate flute tutor with 18 years of experience teaching students at all levels. My teaching focuses on creativity, accountability, and personal growth. I guide students to develop strong technical skills, including tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control. Lessons also include music theory, sight-reading, and listening exercises for complete musicianship. I act as a mentor, encouraging critical thinking and self-reflection in every class. Creativity is a key part of my teaching, with improvisation, composition, and expressive playing included in lessons. Accountability helps students stay consistent with practice and achieve measurable progress.
I adapt lessons to each student’s abilities, interests, and goals. Mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. I encourage students to explore their unique musical voice.
