About Hari

Hello

I am an English language, literature and sociology teacher (high school level) based in the UK.

Alongside this, I am also an educational consultant and academic advisor who helps mostly international students get into top universities in the UK and USA. To date, I have helped students across undergraduate and postgraduate (PhD) levels get into the programs of their dreams, including Cambridge university.

In addition to this, I also privately each English language one-to-one via wechat and have many successful students who have improved their English significantly since becoming my student. The age range which I teach is predominantly from 10 years on and upwards.

About the lesson

I have taught international students throughout my time in university and more recently, in my current role as a teacher. Although when I was a student, I was not an official teacher, my friends at the time (mostly Chinese International students) would come to me for help regarding their university assingments and general academic confidence.

My teaching style throughout the years I have informally and formally been employed as an educator is dynamic. By that I mean my pedagogy tranforms itself dependent on the student and their individual needs which are assesed in the preliminary period i.e. within the first week of meeting that student.

After assessing their requirements and individual needs, I then form a plan of action in order to help these students become their best possible selves within academia, whilst maintaining their curiosity and inspiration to learn.

My practices and pedagogies inspire a permanent change in attitude and apitude for my students, leaving them much more comfortable with UK/US education systems, in addition to their future ventures.

To summarise, I take a more holisitc approach with my students i.e. understanding their requirements on a personal level and then forming an action plan based around setting targets and future goals which will help them become not just better students, but fuller, more rounded individuals.
