About Katie
I am a student in my second year of my BA Education and lifelong learning degree. I have an A-level in English language and it is a subject i have always felt confident in. As I have worked in schools and due to the nature of my degree, I believe I have a good understanding of how we learn and what is the most effective way of teaching.

My teaching method is to work with what learning style best fits an individual and allow them to take the lead on how they would like lessons structured. Generally, the lesson plans will involve an activity to establish what is already understood before breaking down the information into bite-size pieces and rounding the lesson off with a reflection of what was understood, what went well and what areas need more attention.
