About Rehana
I am currently doing my last year in a Bachelor's of Education at the University of Fort Hare. I have one year teaching experience with learners in grades 1-4 in a physical classroom. I have also been teaching English online to students who are based in China.

The classroom is a dynamic environment, bringing together students from different backgrounds with various abilities and personalities. Being an effective teacher therefore requires implementation of creative and innovative teaching strategies in order to meet students'individual needs. I make use of visual and practical learning experiences as this helps students to understand concepts better. I encourage my students to work with others as I think that it helps them to develop their confidence as well as enhance their communication skills. Since we are in the 21st century, I think that it is important for me to incorporate technology in the lesson as it gets the learners attention and helps to encourage physical engagement.
