About Giselle
My name is Giselle and I am 20 years old. I have always been fascinated by how and why people do what they do. Once I started my degree I realized that it is all accredited to the brain and teach is a way to see into the brain. My teacher always used to say that you have to touch the heart, before you train the brain. When teaching, we are exposed to so many wonderful learners and it would be a shame if all we did was go through content and we never did anything to help them develop emotionally and in other ways in order to navigate life. Teaching helps me to leave a footprint, to secure the future.

Having sat on the other side of the desk for 12 years, I have realized what helps students learn, how they remember best and what makes them shut off completely. I am also studying the cognitive development of students and I am learning how different teaching methods help different learners. I am also involved in my church's youth program, where we spend every Friday teaching the youth about Jesus. This has exposed me to different youth behaviors and has taught me how to deal with them in a more effective way
