About Elise
I have tutored both professionally and in a casual capacity for 4+ years. I have experience tutoring children aged 6-12 in English and Maths. This was done in groups of six, with each child learning a different topic or skill level.
I graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Literature & Language in 2020.

My teaching method is personally tailored to the needs of the student, but I generally work through practical examples and exercises, with time left aside to review what went well, and what they struggled with.
Depending on the topic, I advise some key texts which would help the student to understand, or talk through some key movements, references, or techniques at play to further their wider understanding of English literature.
I also have experience in helping students to create revision timetables, and highlighting which topics should be given more or less time.
