About Andrew
I am a UBC Masters in Economics Graduate with experience tutoring students in business, math, writing, and economics. Aside from developing my skills through teaching, I have a real passion for understanding how people think and learn. I am always happy to help however I can through teaching, and the greatest joy I can get from teaching is to see a student empowered :)

Based on experience and several empirical papers, I believe in learning-by-doing. I will:
- prepare a lesson plan based on what you want to learn
- discuss the plan with you
- motivate the importance of the concepts
- build understanding through a pattern of my teaching, your practice, and detailed feedback

Perfect! Andrew is very helpful! He goes above and beyond to spend the extra couple of minutes at the end of the lesson to explain, and even sent me an email with helpful resources.
