About Oluwanifemi
Hi, I'm Olu! I hold an Economics degree and currently work as a Senior Coordinator in a professional consulting environment, where I use economic and analytical thinking daily. Economics wasn't always intuitive for me either. I remember what it felt like to stare at a graph and not fully understand the "why" behind it, which is exactly why I focus on building real understanding, not just memorization, with every student I work with.
I bring patience, structure, and genuine industry context to every session, so you're not just learning economics for a test; you're learning how it actually applies in the real world. Whether you're catching up on a tricky concept or preparing for an upcoming exam, I'll meet you where you're at and work at a pace that makes sense for you.

My approach starts with intuition, not memorization. Before diving into graphs or formulas, I make sure you understand why a concept exists, for example, why firms behave a certain way under different market structures, or what's really driving a shift in supply and demand. Once that clicks, the technical side becomes far easier to retain.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in on what's confusing from your coursework, followed by a focused walkthrough of the concept using real business examples often drawn from my own work in the industry. We then work through practice problems together, moving from guided to independent, so you're building the skill, not just watching me solve it. Sessions end with a short recap and a couple of practice questions to reinforce what we covered.
What sets me apart is that I'm not teaching purely from a textbook. I hold an Economics degree and currently work in a role where I apply economic and analytical thinking daily, so I bring real, current industry context into how I explain concepts.
My lessons are best suited for university students taking introductory or intermediate microeconomics or business economics courses. I'm also happy to work with high school students tackling economics for the first time.
