About Wendy

My interest in economics began with curiosity about how markets function and influence everyday life. This led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Economics, where I developed strong conceptual understanding and analytical skills. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them understand economics in a simple and structured way.

I believe that economics should be taught with clarity and real-life connection. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas and using practical examples to explain them clearly. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and practice regularly so they can build confidence and improve steadily.

Outside teaching, I stay updated with economic trends and policy developments. This helps me bring relevant examples into lessons. Teaching economics is very meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. Helping them develop analytical skills and independent thinking is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

About the lesson

Economics becomes meaningful when students connect theory with real-world situations. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as demand and supply, market structures, inflation, national income, and economic policies using simple and structured explanations. I break each concept into smaller parts so students can follow comfortably without confusion. I also use real-life examples like pricing decisions, budgeting, and business strategies to make lessons more practical and engaging. Each session is interactive and supportive, helping students build confidence step by step.

As learners progress, lessons become more detailed and focused on application. Beginners learn basic concepts and simple graphs. Intermediate students work on calculations, diagrams, and relationships between variables. Advanced learners focus on case studies, data interpretation, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice, structured notes, and feedback to ensure steady improvement and strong understanding.

Economics helps students develop analytical thinking and decision-making skills. As they improve, they become more confident in understanding financial systems and evaluating outcomes. These skills are useful in both academic and real-life situations. My goal is to make economics simple, clear, and engaging so students feel confident in applying their knowledge and thinking independently in different contexts.
