About Harleen

My interest in economics began when I started learning how financial decisions influence individuals and societies. This curiosity led me to study economics at university, where I completed a Bachelor’s degree in the subject. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students from different academic backgrounds and helped them improve their understanding of economic ideas.

I believe that economics should be taught in a way that connects theory with practical examples. Many students find economic models difficult when they are explained without context. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation and real-world discussion so that learners can understand how concepts apply outside textbooks.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about global economic trends, financial systems, and public policy. Keeping up with these topics allows me to bring relevant examples into my lessons. Teaching economics gives me the opportunity to help students build analytical thinking skills that support both academic success and informed decision making.

About the lesson

Economics becomes easier to understand when students learn how economic ideas relate to everyday decisions and social systems. My lessons focus on explaining fundamental economic concepts in a clear and structured way. We begin by discussing basic topics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and supply and demand. Understanding these ideas helps students see how individuals, businesses, and governments make choices about resources.

During lessons, students explore subjects such as market structures, trade, economic growth, and government policies. Each concept is explained step by step so learners can understand how different economic factors interact. Practice questions and discussions allow students to analyze real situations and develop logical thinking skills. I encourage students to think critically about how economic decisions influence society.

As students progress, they begin to recognize how economic systems affect employment, production, and financial planning. This understanding helps learners connect classroom knowledge with real-world developments. My goal is to guide students toward confidence and curiosity while building a strong understanding of economic principles.
