About Chloe
My journey into economics began with curiosity about how societies grow, why inequality exists, and how global policies shape opportunity for millions of people. This passion led me to earn a B.A. in Applied Economics and later an M.Sc. in Global Economic Strategy, where I explored both theoretical frameworks and real-world economic challenges across international contexts. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students through economics with patience, clarity, and an emphasis on meaningful understanding.
I believe students thrive when economics is taught as a living subject connected to real life, rather than as abstract graphs alone. My teaching style focuses on supportive explanation, step-by-step reasoning, and encouraging learners to think independently. I help students build confidence in essays, problem-solving, and economic discussion through consistent guidance.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with economics through policy research, development studies, and ongoing learning about global financial trends. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because I see students transform from uncertainty into confident thinkers who can understand and explain the systems shaping their futures.

Economics becomes far more meaningful when students see that it explains real choices made by individuals, businesses, and governments every day. In my lessons, I guide learners through key topics such as supply and demand, inflation, unemployment, taxation, trade, and economic development with clear explanation and supportive structure. I focus on helping students understand not just the definitions, but the deeper reasoning behind economic systems. Through real-world examples, students begin to connect classroom concepts to current events and everyday life.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s academic level and learning goals. Beginners receive strong foundational support in opportunity cost, market diagrams, and basic economic thinking. Intermediate learners develop deeper understanding of elasticity, macroeconomic indicators, business competition, and policy effects. Advanced students explore global development, financial systems, essay-writing strategies, and exam-level evaluation skills. Practice questions, structured feedback, and discussion-based learning help students steadily grow in confidence.
Economics lessons also build critical thinking that lasts beyond exams. Students learn how to analyze issues thoughtfully, express arguments clearly, and understand the forces shaping the modern world. My goal is to help learners succeed academically while becoming empowered economic thinkers with strong reasoning skills.
