About Shreya
My interest in economics began with a curiosity about how financial systems and markets influence daily life. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Economics, where I developed a strong understanding of economic theory and real-world applications. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them understand economics in a clear and practical way. My experience has helped me guide learners with patience and adaptability.
I believe that economics should be taught in a simple and relatable way. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex theories into easy explanations using examples and visual methods. I encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence and develop deeper understanding. I also provide regular feedback to support their progress.
Outside teaching, I stay updated with economic trends and global developments, which helps me bring real-world relevance into my lessons. Teaching economics is meaningful to me because I get to help students understand how the world works from a financial and social perspective. Seeing them grow in confidence and analytical ability is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Economics becomes easier to understand when students can connect theories to real-life situations and everyday decisions. In my lessons, I focus on explaining concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, inflation, and basic macroeconomics in a simple and structured way. I break down each topic into smaller parts so students can follow comfortably without confusion. I use real-world examples like pricing, budgeting, and government policies to make learning more relatable and meaningful. Each session is designed to be calm and engaging, allowing students to ask questions freely and build confidence step by step.
As students progress, lessons become more detailed and focused on analysis and application. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple explanations. Intermediate learners work on graphs, case studies, and understanding relationships between economic factors. Advanced learners focus on deeper analysis, data interpretation, and exam preparation. I provide regular exercises, revision, and feedback to help students strengthen their understanding. This structured approach ensures steady improvement and better clarity in economic thinking.
Economics also helps students develop critical thinking and decision-making skills. As they improve, they begin to understand how economic systems affect daily life and global events. They learn to analyse situations logically and make informed decisions. My goal is to make economics simple, practical, and interesting so students feel confident in understanding the subject and applying it in real-world situations.
