About Gabriel
I remember struggling as an A-Level student, until I had a lightbulb moment where everything clicked.
My goal as a tutor is to help my students get to this lightbulb moment - and from there, understand economic concepts at a level deeper than simply memorising key terms and definitions.
Having only completed my A-Levels in 2024, I can share my expertise and knowledge that is suited towards the modern curriculum - more notably, I would like to share my own systematic evaluation strategies (with focus on the big 15-25 mark questions), which ultimately brought my grades up from constant C’s and D’s to an A*.

I primarily teach the A-Level curriculum as I truly understand how to ace each part of the exam. I am eager to share little tips and tricks that almost guarantee an A* if understood.
While my teaching focus is A-Levels, I also tutor for GCSEs. Even if my students don’t seem too keen on becoming an “economist” at this age, I help them understand financial literacy in order to achieve security and independence. I notice people my age now are always talking about investing, budgeting, etc. - why not get a head start before your peers to understand a field so relevant today, yet seemingly neglected in lower-school?
I myself am a student at the University of Liverpool - I am simply sharing the skill sets and expertise that a younger me would’ve very much have appreciated when the subject still felt foreign. Lessons are typically an hour but I am aware that tutoring isn’t a “one size fits all” field, and can provide different lesson structures for different learners after getting to know them.
